I am passionate about helping people get to the next level. I am specifically focused on people who feel stuck and are not sure what their next steps are. These can be students who need support, encouragement, and help to progress through a difficult time or prepare for their next phase of life. Or it can be professionals who cannot seem to get over a roadblock.

About life coaching

I am not a counselor. A counselor looks at “who” in the past. I am not a consultant. A consultant looks at the “what” of the present/future. I am a life coach. I look at the “who” of the present/future and help the individual develop awareness, clarity, motivation and confidence! (Wieser, Ally; World Institute, Inc. In individualized sessions with me and people who are willing to participate in the journey, I am confident I can help them with my life coaching skills to get Back to Your Future!

Why is this important? Because many of our community members, young and old are dealing with a problem that they have not addressed. These underlying issues prevent them from moving forward in life. Whether it be relationally, academically, or socially, these problems are holding them back from their full potential.

This is why I love life coaching! I am offering to partner with individuals to help them succeed in life. Heading off depression, confusion, and unproductivity through solid decision making and planning. In turn, we will see our community prosper one person at a time.

About my experience

I have coached people officially and unofficially over the years. I was a coach before I received my certification. I’ve been sought out to help people solve problems, find resources, and encouragement for their next level and/or the problem at hand. Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says: “For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you, not to harm you, to give you hope and a FUTURE (emphasis on future).” This verse brings me peace because I am reminded that He has a plan with my FUTURE in mind! Life has a way of distracting us, taking us off course. Then one day, we’re nowhere near where we planned to be, and we’re unsure how to get back on that path.

I can relate. I did not plan to be a single mom for 10 years. I gave birth to my son as a freshman in college. The first three days of my sophomore year, I took him to school strapped to my chest and my book bag to my back. I was determined to finish. But I had a great support system. Fast-forward, I’ve been married for 11 years. Now I am a blessed mother of 2 bios and 4 bonus children with 1 grandchild.

Your future is forward

When you “write the vision and make it plain” (Habakkuk 2:2-3 ESV), you can move FORWARD! I don’t believe in stagnation. Life is always moving, so if you stop, you’ll get left behind. Everyone’s path is different, but the goal is to fulfill your purpose and get Back to Your FUTURE God has planned for you.
